Your experience should read as strong as it actually is.
You’ve done the work. The challenge is making the right things obvious.
Core Career Services helps professionals and executives turn complex experience into clear, credible resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and career narratives built around where they’re going next.
You probably don’t need better wording. You need better positioning.
Most weak career materials are not weak because the person lacks experience.
They’re weak because the experience is poorly prioritized, difficult to interpret, written at the wrong altitude, or disconnected from the roles being targeted.
That happens when:
- your responsibilities have grown faster than your title;
- you’ve accumulated years of strong work without a clear throughline;
- your career has taken turns that make perfect sense to you but not yet to a recruiter;
- your resume describes what you did without showing the scope or consequences;
- your LinkedIn profile reflects where you’ve been instead of where you’re going;
- or you’ve spent so much time inside your own career that it has become difficult to see what an outsider needs to understand first.
That is the work I specialize in.
I help identify what matters, what doesn’t, what needs proof, and how the pieces fit together.
The goal isn’t to make you sound impressive.
It’s to make the right things obvious.
Good career writing is selective.
It does not attempt to preserve every responsibility, keyword, project, and accomplishment you have ever accumulated. It identifies the evidence that best explains your value to the market you are pursuing.
Human readability and ATS compatibility. Your materials need to work for both systems and people. Neither requires gimmicks.
Two places where the story matters most
Resume Strategy & Writing
Your resume should quickly establish the level at which you operate, the problems you solve, and the evidence that supports your next move.
I rebuild resumes around positioning, target-role alignment, relevant scope, measurable impact, and a clean hierarchy that helps recruiters understand the value without digging for it.
Experience is rarely the problem.
Translation often is.
Core Career Services has supported 1,500+ professionals, including executives, product and technology leaders, business operators, military veterans, career changers, and specialists whose work does not fit neatly into a template.
Clients have included professionals from organizations such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Netflix, Apple, JPMorgan Chase, Lockheed Martin, Disney, Adobe, Walmart, Cigna, CVS, ExxonMobil, Unilever, and P&G.
That does not mean those companies endorse Core Career Services.
It means I have spent years translating the experience of people working inside complicated organizations, functions, and careers—and making that experience easier for the next audience to understand.

How the work happens
Who this works best for
Strong fit if:
- your experience is difficult to summarize cleanly;
- you are targeting a meaningful promotion, pivot, or step up;
- the work you actually perform has outgrown your title;
- you have strong results but struggle to decide what matters most;
- you need someone who will challenge weak positioning rather than simply polish it;
- you care about accuracy, nuance, and how the finished materials actually represent you.
Probably not the right fit if:
- you want your experience exaggerated;
- you want a same-day generic rewrite without providing context;
- you want a resume stuffed with keywords regardless of whether the language communicates anything useful;
- you expect a document by itself to fix every weakness in a job search.
I would rather tell you that upfront than sell you work you do not need.
What actually changes?
Credentials without the credential parade
I have built my career around the intersection of writing, positioning, career strategy, and professional narrative.
Credentials matter.
But the real test is whether the finished work accurately communicates your career—not whether I can fill a page with acronyms.
Frequently asked before starting
Do I need both a resume and LinkedIn profile?
No. They should work together, but they serve different purposes. If only one needs work, there is no reason to buy the other.
Is the resume ATS-friendly?
Yes. I use clear structure, intentional keyword alignment, and formatting designed to work with modern application systems without sacrificing readability for humans.
Do I need to know all of my metrics?
No. Bring what you have. I’ll help identify where scale, outcomes, scope, or other evidence can strengthen the story.
Do you guarantee interviews?
No. No ethical writer can control employer decisions, the job market, your search activity, or the strength of the candidate pool. I can control the quality, strategy, accuracy, and clarity of the work.
Can we work asynchronously?
Yes. In fact, most projects begin that way.
If the problem isn’t your experience—but how clearly your materials communicate it—we should probably work together.
Tell me what you are targeting, where you feel stuck, and what materials you currently have.
I’ll review the context and recommend the scope that makes sense.
